Privacy policy
What the shop at darpetshop.com collects, why it collects it, where it is kept, and how to have it removed or leave the list.
This is the shop's own privacy policy, and it applies from 17 October 2026.
Who runs this shop
The shop at darpetshop.com is run by Darleen's Pet Sitting Services LLC, which sells the printable packs and bundles offered on it.
What the shop collects, and why
The shop receives something from you in three ways. Each one is listed here with exactly what it holds.
A message sent through the contact form
The shop's contact form asks for your name, your email address and your message, and for nothing else.
What you send is emailed to the shop's own inbox, and a short receipt is emailed back to the address you gave. The shop keeps no database record of a message. What you send is used for one thing: to reply to you and deal with what you asked about.
A newsletter sign-up
If you sign up for the DarPetSit newsletter, we collect the email address you type, your first name if you choose to give it, how often you would like to hear from us — quarterly or monthly, and you can tick more than one — and whichever of the three interests you tick: pet owner, pet sitter, or pet care business owner. The email address, at least one way to hear from us, at least one interest, and the consent box are required — your first name is optional. We record the date and time you gave that consent.
To confirm your email address, we email you a short code, and when you type it back we record the date and time you confirmed; the code itself is never stored.
It is used for one thing: to send you the letters you asked for, and to write those letters for the interests you chose. It is not used for anything else, it is not rented, sold or traded, and it is not put into a third-party marketing platform. A letter is published on darpetshop.com, and the email only carries the link to read the current one. There is no tracking pixel in it and we do not record whether you opened it.
A purchase
Nothing about a card is ever typed on a page of ours. Choosing a pack opens a payment page run by Stripe, and the card details are entered there: they go to Stripe and never reach the shop, its Worker or its mailbox.
When a payment goes through, Stripe sends you back to the shop with its own reference for that payment. The shop asks Stripe about that payment to confirm it went through, and builds your download link from it. The shop keeps no order record, no buyer record and no download record of its own: the reference lives in the address of the page you are on and nowhere else.
Two messages come out of a purchase. The shop emails you a copy of your download link, to the address Stripe holds for that payment, and it emails itself one notice per download, naming the pack, the time, the amount, the Stripe transaction reference and that same email address. That notice, in the shop's inbox, is the whole record of a download.
If you tell us a download did not work and ask us to look into it, that request is emailed to the same inbox with those same details. Nothing is sent unless you ask us to look into it.
Cookies and security checks
The shop's contact form and its newsletter sign-up form are protected from spam and automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving security service. Turnstile may process certain technical data (such as browser characteristics and interaction patterns) to determine whether the submission is from a real person. This process does not involve cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect or retain personal information.
The shop's own pages set no cookies of their own.
The payment pages are Stripe's own pages, with Stripe's own cookies and Stripe's own privacy policy.
What the shop does not do
There is no analytics and no advertising tracker on the shop's pages or in the emails it sends.
There is no third-party marketing platform behind the newsletter: the list is kept in our own database, and each letter is built and sent by the shop's own code.
A letter carries no tracking pixel, and there is no open counter: we do not record whether you read it.
The shop keeps no visitor log of its own. Our hosting provider processes the request that serves each page — that is how any page reaches you — but the shop itself keeps no record of who visited what.
Where the information is kept
These are the services that process it, each for its own part of the work and for nothing else.
Every page of the shop is served by Cloudflare, which processes the request that reaches it.
The newsletter list is kept in our own database at Neon.
Email is delivered through Resend, and a message sent to inquiries@darpetshop.com is forwarded to the owner's own mailbox through Cloudflare.
Payments are handled by Stripe.
How long it is kept, and how to leave the list
The newsletter record is kept in our own database for as long as you are on the list. It holds your email address, your first name if you gave one, the frequencies you chose, the interests you chose, and when you gave consent. When you leave the list, or drop an interest, we record that change on the same record — the address is not copied anywhere else to be sent to, and it is not shared with anyone.
A message you send through the contact form stays in the shop's inbox only as long as it is needed to deal with it, and you can ask for it to be deleted at any time.
You can change how often you hear from us, drop any single interest, or leave the list entirely at any time. Every letter carries your own personal link for that, and it needs no password. Leaving takes effect within 48 hours.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time to delete correspondence or personal information we hold about you.
Ask with the shop's contact form, and say what you would like removed. We act within 48 hours.
