A short settling-in pack for the first month with a new puppy, kitten, adult rescue or small pet: the first 72 hours and the first night, one safe room kept the same, a checklist page for each of weeks 1 to 4, feeding, house-training and litter box routines with a blank routine grid, introductions to other pets, children and visitors, the first vet visit with the questions to ask, and a supplies and costs worksheet.
It is written for a household doing this again after a long gap, and for whoever looks after the animal while you are away. Every timing that depends on the animal says so and points at the vet or the rescue instead of printing a number.

The forms inside are blank on purpose. Everything that depends on you — your vet, the clinic that is open at night, your phone number, your address, your rates, the wording of your own policies — is yours to fill in, so nothing in a pack invents a business or a price for you.
